As per the regulations of the Vietnam e-Visa, you are only permitted to enter the country via the port of entry that you selected during the application process, which will also be specified in your visa document. While there may be instances where you can enter through a different airport than the one listed on your Vietnam e-Visa, it is advisable to avoid doing so. Airlines may refuse to let you board your flight, which is the most common problem. If you do manage to board, the immigration officer at your arrival destination will have the final say on whether or not you are allowed to enter. To minimize the risk of issues, we recommend sticking to your chosen airport or land border. In case your travel plans change unexpectedly, it's best to choose Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, or Da Nang airport as your port of entry, as they receive a higher volume of international flights, giving you a better chance of entering there, even at the last minute.
